Provocative Therapy and Frank Farrelly

Click to view a video introduction to this site "When I first met Frank Farrelly I became acutely aware that there was in my opinion an almost criminal lack of information about this therapeutic approach apart from the excellent work in Germany by Dr. E. Noni Hofner and D.I.P. Aside from the original book that was published in the 1970s, I could not find any other material on PT and Frank's second book 'Me and God' was only available in German.

Since 2004 I have worked closely with Frank Farrelly to create a series of Provocative Therapy DVDs, CDs, audio and video downloads and articles as well as establishing a series of online resources. I created The Association for Provocative Therapy to promote the highest standards in Provocative Therapy which recognises Frank Farrelly as the sole creator for the field of PT. Provocative Therapy has been described as 'sophisticated simplicity' and in my view is an extraordinary approach for producing therapeutic change.

In 2007 I released "Provocative Change Works for Phobias" DVD set of my own work which has narration from Frank and myself on two client interviews. This product showcases how I have used PT in conjunction with hypnosis in my own private practice in the UK successfully curing phobias and other conditions. I deliberately refer to this approach as 'Provocative Change Works' as opposed to 'Provocative Therapy' and an explanation of the differences between these two approaches can be found here.

Further information on Provocative Change Works can be found at www.provocativechangeworks.com.

In 2008 I am presenting on both the Provocative Change Works approach and Provocative Therapy in 'the classical sense' (as an approved Farrelly PT trainer) at the Institute for Advanced Medical Studies (IASH) conference in San Francisco USA.
